BovINE

Beef Innovation Network Europe

Minerva is the communications partner for BovINE – a 3-year EU funded thematic network project established to address the challenges – and drive the sustainability – of the European beef farming sector and community.

The project links researchers, advisors, farmers, and all relevant stakeholders, across 9 EU member states, to stimulate the exchange of knowledge and solutions across the themes of socio-economic resilience, animal health & welfare, production efficiency & meat quality and environmental sustainability.

To support knowledge exchange, BovINE has launched an open platform – the BovINE Knowledge Hub (BKH) – to enable farmers and other hands-on stakeholders tackle these challenges and topics head-on every day. Research innovations and proven good practices, verified by the project working groups, are being uploaded to the BKH. Network Managers have been appointed in each of the 9 partner countries and tasked with identifying grassroots challenges raised by farmers and to facilitate working together to develop solutions.

Minerva leads on online and social media communications, dissemination to professional and trade groups and capacity development via online training for Network Managers and all project partners. Minerva led on the design and implementation of both the website and the BKH.
